Computer Products Opens New RFID Center In Orange County To Serve West
Coast Manufacturers

Lab offers RFID hardware and tag selection services, testing and
RFID certification classes
Lowry Computer Products, a manufacturer and integrator of wireless,
RFID, bar code and data collection solutions, is pleased to announce
the opening of a second RFID Center in Orange County, California.
Built upon the successful concept of the first RFID Center at Lowry's
corporate office in Brighton, Michigan, the west coast RFID Center
will offer professional services and RFID certification training to
organizations planning implementation of RFID technology, to comply
with labeling mandates issued by large retailers and the Department of
Defense (DoD). |

highly trained professional services team, with years of automatic
data collection experience and certification in RFID technology, will
utilize the fully-equipped Center to develop and test solutions for
customers and organizations in the West Coast region of the country,"
said Ross Bonn, Director of Western Region Sales for Lowry Computer
Products. "We also plan to offer high level implementation evaluation
presentations for key customer initiatives."
The new state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest
best-in-class RFID hardware such as printers, encode & apply labelers,
readers and portals manufactured by Lowry's business partners. Based
upon each customer's unique RFID application, Lowry professional
services engineers will be able to recommend optimal hardware and RFID
inlay, as well as identify the ideal "smart" label location on the
customer's actual shipping pallet. In addition to knowledgeable
professional services, Lowry's West Coast Center will offer RFID
certification training classes for organizations planning to implement
RFID and integrate this technology into their supply chain processes.
OTA Training, based in Dallas, Texas, is the developer of the
comprehensive RFID training curriculum. Courses include vendor neutral
hands-on exercises conducted throughout the course, and end with a
half-day of extensive lab exercises.
