crucial to building the RFID systems, and Eric’s marketing and sales
skills will help with business acquisitions. We are thrilled to have
such talented members joining our team.”
Atlas provides companies with consulting and implementation of RFID
systems using radio waves to automatically identify and track objects.
These systems are similar to that of barcodes, only much more
sophisticated. Since RFID is a wireless system that transmits radio,
greater amounts of data can be read in one scan than with barcoding.
RFID can aid in providing not only identification, but also location
and condition of the item. This is extremely beneficial to improve
processes and workflow thereby increasing productivity and reducing
costs. While these systems are increasing in popularity, Atlas is
currently the only Alabama company to offer these comprehensive
services.
