Chandler to Lead Roll-Out of New Product Offering to Retailers
After Successful Launch
Tarrytown, N.Y. -- SPAR Group, Inc. today announced it has named
Patricia R. Chandler to the newly created position of general manager,
in-store events, following the successful launch and roll-out of the
company's newest product offering. |

Chandler assumes
responsibility for SPAR Group's recently established in-store events
business, including its new Demopod product -- an interactive,
multi-media sales station strategically placed within the retail store
environment and designed to attract shoppers, build better consumer
response and help close sales. The in-store events operation, which
the company said is providing its supplier and retailer clients with
measurable sales improvements over traditional in-store demos,
leverages event specialists offering a wide range of custom
informational product presentations. RFID and related high-end
technology is utilized, with real-time reporting tied to in-store
demonstrations and events.
"Patty Chandler joins us following the tremendous response we have
received in the U.S. and in initial testing overseas from major
retailers and suppliers for our new in-store product and associated
services, along with the sales successes our clients are
experiencing," said Kori Belzer, SPAR Group's chief operating officer.

experience and knowledge in helping retailers grow their businesses

With more than 18 years of relevant experience in the development and
implementation of innovative marketing programs and services, Chandler
most recently served as account director for Mars Advertising in
Southfield, MI. Previously, Chandler was director of the in-store and
merchandising divisions for News America Marketing in Troy, MI and
served as project manager for Equitable Real Estate Investment
Management in Atlanta. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in
economics and communications from the University of Michigan in Ann
Arbor.
Chandler reports directly to Belzer and is based at the company's
Auburn Hills, MI office.
